Sunshine City Aquarium サンシャイン水族館

Chatting about fish.

Last week we visited the Sunshine City Aquarium with our friend Ti. Although it was rather expensive as aquariums go, it held an impressive variety of species, and the habitats were large and beautiful to view. I always find aquariums to be relaxing, and love being surrounded by the serene blue of the water.

 Jellies!

 Relaxing with the fish.

 Rays.

We viewed a smallish version of the Japanese spider crab. Click here if you want to learn more about these creepy creatures, and if you want to have nightmares featuring one of these giant arthropods.

On a more pleasant note, we viewed the mammals outside. Waaaaay cuter than a spider crab.

Penguins and pelicans to finish the afternoon.
