OK! I made it through all the travel pains, and I'm here in Okazaki with just a little jet lag to boot. I had over 24 hours of travel to get here, ugh. KC to LA to Osaka, and then took trains from there, including the bullet train, which was quite exciting, as I have a strong love of efficient public transportation (and it's super clean too!). I also saw some good (funny) signage, and lots of vending machines, as was expected. As this is my first blogging experience, I apologize if the format starts out a bit rough, hopefully I'll improve with time. I plan on using the space to post photos and just thoughts about what it's like to be in Japan. I'll post more soon, so check back often. :)
